A forecast is an expression of expected sales revenue based on the gross rollup of a set of opportunities. Forecasts can include adjustments made by forecast managers to their subordinates' forecasts as well as adjustments made by users to their own forecasts. In the rollup table on the forecasts page, forecasts are organized by forecast category, time period, and optionally by product family.
